Can’t people read?

I’m sure not all smokers are inconsiderate idiots, but it seems that many I encounter are. At the airport last Sunday, I couldn’t help but to shake my head at the smoker in this picture sitting on the bench that says “Thank you For Not Smoking”. It was kind of tricky to get the picture without looking too suspicious. Click on the left picture and then look closely at the bench; an enlargement of the sign is in the second picture.

It's illegal to take pictures of someone and publish them without consent of the person in the picture.

You might want to check your facts. While I'm not a lawyer (and no one has sued me over this), people (at least in the US) don't have the expectation of privacy in public. Here is one link that has some guidelines on the issue: http://www.wipo.int/sme/en/documents/ip_photography.htm#3.

Funny thing about this picture is that I was at the airport again today and saw someone smoking by the sign again; the smoking benches were no more than 50 feet away, but the person I saw today not only was smoking where she wasn't supposed to smoke, she also put her cigarette butt out on the ground and littered.
